UMass System-wide Exchange & Study Abroad Programs

The campuses of the University of Massachusetts have long been engaged in international activities. The University of Massachusetts campuses each hold international partnerships that facilitate study abroad and exchange opportunities to UMass students, system-wide. Specifically, the University of Massachusetts campuses at Boston, Dartmouth, and Amherst share a number overseas programs which allows students from any UMass campus to participate in study abroad and international exchange through one of these UMass campuses. 


UMASS AMHERST                                                                                      

University of Massachusetts Amherst opens a number of its education abroad and exchange programs to UMass students. UMA programs are available for UMass Boston students in the following locations:

      • Australia: Adelaide, Sydney
      • Canada: Montreal
      • China: Beijing, Hong Kong
      • Ecuador: Quito
      • Germany**: Baden Wurttemberg (summer & semester): Freiburg, Heidelburg, Hohenheim, Karlsruhe, Konstanz, Mannheim, Stuttgart, Tuebingen, Ulm
      • India: Delhi
      • Ireland: Dublin (summer); Limerick
      • Japan: Tokyo, Sapporo
      • South Korea: Seoul
      • The Netherlands: Leiden
      • Sweden: Linkoping
      • Taiwan: Taichung
      • England, United Kingdom: Brighton, Sussex, Kent, Lancaster, Manchester, Norwich, Egham, London, Hull, Leeds
      • Scotland, United Kingdom: Stirling, Edinburgh, Glasgow

UMASS DARTMOUTH                                          
University of Massachusetts Dartmouth offers UMass Boston students opportunities to participate in a system-wide exchange, or a study abroad program facilitated through its International Programs Office.  UMD programs are available for UMass Boston students in the following locations:
